‘Sherman’

From the first time we saw this dog in full winter coat, amongst the snow in the Innisfree Kennels in upstate New York, we fell in love.

I just knew without anyone telling me so, that this young boy was down from my dear “Alexander” (Am/Can/Aust Gr Ch Innisfree’s Alexander) and not surprisingly, he is his grandson plus son of Sheila Kanzler’s lovely Broker (Am Ch Innisfree’s Stockbroker) winner of the 2006 U.S. Nationals.

The genes were strong in this line and Sherman was an ideal youngster. He travelled happily with us in our rented motor home in the U.S. bonding with me from day one. That’s always a winner and a plus!

Sojourning up in Canada prior to coming to Australia and gaining his Canadian championship title by 9 months of age with Alison Alexander, Sherman has been notably winning discreetly at selected showsin Australia whislt we wait for him to mature.

This lovely dog is already a Multi Best in Group Winner (Group 1st), and Reserve Best in Show WInner (BiS-2).  He also won Reserve Dog CC to our own Freddie at the 2005 Sydney Royal Show.  We predict he has a great show ring future ahead of him.

Sherman is currently being campaigned in South Australia (SA) by the very talented handler, Erin Carter.
